Your contributions are greatly appreciated, and will help us with advertising costs.

As per Elections BC rules, campaign contributions can only be made by eligible individuals and cannot be made by organizations or any other individuals.

An eligible individual is:

  • a resident of British Columbia, and
  • a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident

There is an annual campaign contribution limit. For 2026 it is $1,429.70. Eligible individuals can give a combined maximum of $1,429.70 to an elector organization and its candidates.

If you give $100 or more to a local elections candidate or elector organization (e.g., for the 2026 General Local Elections) your name and contribution amount will be published in the Financial Reports and Political Contributions System (FRPC). Campaign contributions to local elections candidates and elector organizations are not eligible for tax receipts.
